Welcome to the Eucharistic Revival Website

This website is designed to help facilitate our monthly study program at Christ the Teacher Parish/Newman Center at Northern Illinois University. Each month we pick a topic of study to help us draw closer to Jesus and His True Presence in the Holy Eucharist. Our monthly themes cover Catholic writings, art, the Saints, and more. The Catechism of the Catholic Church (C.C.C.) states that the Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian faith. Following that truth of our faith we aim to help our community grow in its relationship with Jesus through learning, studying, and discussing the Eucharist.

 

The Catholic Bishop's Conference of the United States (USCCB) has begun a 3 year grass roots movement to love, promote and worship Jesus with deeper devotion. This movement is entitled the National Eucharistic Revival and will take place from summer 2022 through 2025. More information can be found by clicking on the 'about' tab above.

 

Each month this website will be updated with a new monthly study theme full of information, writings, and links that will help you delve deeper into the theme. Through this study and participation in our monthly gatherings we hope that you will grow closer to Jesus during this time. There is much going on nationally and regionally. This site will serve to help guide you.
